back on line!
tell me, did you miss me?
we have internet at the new house. we are partially moved in. at least we have all the stuff we like over at the new house. stuff we don't care so much for will likely find us.
on 5-22-07 I noticed our blue prints were stamped 5-22-06 by the engineer.

we have found a few glitches and we've been busy getting everything sorted. no big problems. we have started the back yard work wich involves a koi pond with negative edge, three levels of patio and a lap pool. it's strange to be at home while all this work is going on. the wall of glass seems so odd when those guys are working so hard on one side of the glass and we are watching from air conditioned space just inches away. I feel like I should be helping and sweating along side.

we had a BIG rain or four. the pool area filled up with water prematurely

here it is all dried out and filled w/ concrete

inside looking into what will be the koi pool

from the screen room to the pool

from the screen room looking up towards the koi pool and upper patio area

and bringing you up to the moment, this pic was taken 30 minutes ago. I can hear them downstairs plumbing at it.

cabinets look great with drawer pulls

mom and I have been busy installing the polygal panels into the garage door. very happy with the results. thank you mom!
pic from the last day of school party

can you guess what this is? ...
OK, you'll never get it. my daughter loved her new snack creation; triscuit topped with brie, fig compote and olive stuffed with jalapeno pepper.

hi, the drawer pulls came from ikea. the garage door is from overhead door, I cut the polygal down to size and was not too hard to install the pieces with the trim they supplied. rubber mallet was the only tool used.
polygal pieces are joined using a polygal H strip.
good luck on the industrial space, I did that back in an old broom factory in baltimore. winters w/o heat was a bit chilly, but it was the rats that finally had me move out.

Hi, somehow stumbled on your site by googling POLYGAL. Great work on your home! I am currently converting an industrial space into a home in Cali. and was wondering where you purchased the drawer pulls for your kitchen. If I can bother you for some info on the polygal garage door, I have several sheets, and was wondering what kind of glazing or frame work used in connecting the sheets. (any install tips would be helpfull as well)!
Cheers! Row-b

We missed you! We did!
The house is looking fantastic. We really want to invite ourselves over (with libations of course), but we will be patient ;-)
Looks like your daughter is as culinarily adventurous as our oldest!
