Eggstravaganza (Smithville) and Wild Basin Easter

Kat was looking for some sort of Easter Egg hunt for #2 son. We had happened upon a poster for one while we were in Smithville the previous weekend. So we got the kids up and out of bed, and hauled them to Smithville.

It was a beautiful day at the First United Methodist Church. Pastor Cindy was very welcoming and made sure to introduce herself to us. It's a small town, we were the new faces.

The kids were quite excited about those eggs once released.

We took the kids to Micklethwait for brisket. #2 son added one pin to their map for West Lake Hills, he added another for Wimberley. He was disappointed there was no Vermont to place our third pin.

We enjoyed a second Egg Hunt at a friend's house over Wild Basin. The day was wonderful and we were thankful to spend a couple hours enjoying the breeze and maybe some wine.
