Easy Tiger Linc Grand Opening, Westlake Sway and Kat's BDay.
We attended the opening day of the new Easy Tiger location at the Linc.
This location has a large beer garden area. They provided blankets for those braving the cool temps we had this weekend. We managed to secure a couple seats at the bar.
Kat loves a good Bratwurst and theirs was very good.
They have a large bakery there. We bought a beautiful ciabatta loaf for $4.
I sliced it up for French Toast breakfast. Freshly grated nutmeg made it extra special.
Sway Westlake opened this week.
The look and feel is very similar to the original location on S. 1st in 78704
They have a large rooftop bar and patio area that features a nice downtown view. It was tool cold and windy for us this weekend. We managed to secure a couple seats at the bar.
The mussels were really good and spicy.
We stopped by to see Jorge at Chinatown. We managed to secure a couple seats at the sushi bar.
It was all so delicious, we had great fun there.
No Kat birthday weekend would be complete without collecting her meal from Plucker's. #2 son had decided he wants his picture on their "Wall of Shame". That requires eating 25 Fire in the Hole (super spicy) wings. He managed three on this meal. If you've not had these wings, let me assure you that three is an accomplishment.
